Birthday Easel Card

This is a card I made for a friend. It for a lady so I have made it with lots of girly features. She liked it very much.

I decided to make an easel card

I used a sketch from the internet. The papers are printed from a digital kit of Nitwit collection called Kindly Thoughts. I embroidered the edge with DMC 3855 embroidery floss

The flowers, leaves and heart are made from die cuts

I created the sentiment myself and printed it on vellum and the numbers are made from die cuts that I applied with the Xyron stickermaker. I love using the Xyron for this

And for the bottom I used a doily punch to make that lovely border. I added some patterned paper on it. I used a die cut alphabet to make the name which I also attached using the Xyron stickermaker. And for the finishing touch I used some pearls

So that was it for now. Until next time my friends

Tuxedo Fold Pop Up Card

So this is my first post on this new blog. I made cards many years ago but it got a bit challenging to keep cutting decoupage images and also to color stamped images. I started crocheting after that and have been doing that for quite a number of years now.

I still missed making cards and other paper things and found a new way so I am giving it another try as it is still a passion of mine. Hope you like this one too as I think it's not all that bad considering it's been years.

I used white and yellow linen textured cardstock. The paper are from the collection Kindly Thoughts of Nitwit Collections. The butterflies are made from various die cut brands

Until next time
