Challenge Card

I made this card and then I found it as it had accidently fallen behind my cabinet. I have made another one like this before but I love it so much that I made this one as well and I might make it again at a later time. Never the same though. I will always make a card once.

I used a square postage nestability dies. The colors I used for the colored small square postage dies are Anise, Glacier and Ink. For the butterflies I used a die cut of Alexandra Renke. They are a set of 2 butterflies. I die cut both butterflies 3 times. One butterfly in white cardstock and the other butterfly in vellum. I used a beige color for the body of the butterfly. I added a sentiment that I made and printed myself and some sequins in matching colors for the finishing touch.

I will be entering this card in the following challenge:
Alphabet Challenge - W is for Wings
Cardz 4 Galz #244 - Embellishments
Double Trouble #185 - Recipe 3-2-1
Inspiration Station #70 - Inspiration Photo

Butterfly Birthday Card

Today I am showing you a birthday card I made with butterflies

I splattered some gold paint on the background. I used square postage dies to put the butterflies on. I die cut the butterflies once in white cardstock and once in vellum and cut the vellum butterflies slighty smaller. I stamped the sentiment and embossed it with gold embossing powder and then die cut it with a label die. For the finishing touch I used some sequins in matching colors

A CAS Butterfly card

So this is my very first attempt to make a Clean and Simple butterfly card.

I did some partial embossing on the top panel using a script themed embossing folder. The butterfly was cut out with a butterfly cutting die from a marble blue background that I found online. I also embossed the butterfly with the script embossing folder but it is hard to see in the photo.

I thought that the sentiment fitted the embossing folder and it allows me so used this for different occasions also

I have added this card for the challenge at CAS on Friday

Happy crafting

Tuxedo Fold Pop Up Card

So this is my first post on this new blog. I made cards many years ago but it got a bit challenging to keep cutting decoupage images and also to color stamped images. I started crocheting after that and have been doing that for quite a number of years now.

I still missed making cards and other paper things and found a new way so I am giving it another try as it is still a passion of mine. Hope you like this one too as I think it's not all that bad considering it's been years.

I used white and yellow linen textured cardstock. The paper are from the collection Kindly Thoughts of Nitwit Collections. The butterflies are made from various die cut brands
