Gnome James Halloween Card

Today I am showing you a card featuring James the Gnome by Studio Light. He is trying on his outfit to try and scare you. He even invited some of his bat friends but he needs to do a better job because he is still too cute. I made this card special for the color challenge over at AAA Colourful. This idea just popped in my head immediately and here is the finished result.

I took a lime green based card. I added some black designer paper on it from the Gnome Halloween collection of Nitwit Collections. I took a white panel and added some Distress Oxide Ink color Villianous Potion onto it just lightly. I feel the name of the ink really suited the theme of the card. On that I added James in his green and purple outfit holding a happy pumpkin. The bats are from various gnome die sets of Globeland. And for the finishing touch I added some glitter enemal dots of Carlijn Design that I won as a prize at a challenge earlier this year. The colors really matched the card.

I will be adding this to the following challenges:
AAA Colourboard #20 - Colourboard
Two Old Bats Halloween September 2025 - Anything Halloween Goes
Just Us Girls #793 - Mood Board
Inspired By - Autumn (mine is the pumpkin)

Another James The Gnome Card

Today I am showing another card made with the cute gnome from Studio Light.

I used a sketch from the Cheerful Sketch challenge. The designer papers are from Studio Light also. And James the gnome is also from Studio Light Craft Lab. I like the gnome so much that I had to use him again and it probably won't be the last time either. I added a few pearls and a homemade sentiment for the finishing touch. I also added a decorative strip of the papers on the inside of the card.

I will be entering this in the following challenges:
Peace On Earth #93 - Anything Christmas Goes
Cheerful Sketches #147 - The Sketch
Girlz And The Art Of Letters #7 - Letter G (Gnome in my card)
Cut It Up #336 - Add A Sentiment

Gnome James Is Here

So this is my newest gnome addition. He is from Studio Light Craft Lab and is called James. I just had to put him on a card. You can make 4 different looking gnomes from the die set.

I used background papers from Studio Light in a christmas theme. The colors are not traditional but still very cheeryful. I took some nesting panels to add James too. James is holding a present that I used from a different die set and I think the present is from Marianne Design. I added some snowflakes on the sides and put a light blue pearl in the middle of each snowflake. I die cut the sentiment from Mama Elephant Holiday Word Banners Stamps and matching dies. I then added some die cut buttons. I layered them up and added some crochet yarn to make the white crosses on the buttons. However they are a bit bulky to add to the card. For the finishing touch I added some sequins in matching colors.

I will be entering this in the following challenges:
The 12 Months Of Christmas #125 - Anything Christmas Goes
The Holly And Ivy #188 - Anything Christmas Goes
Merry Little Christmas #63 - Anything Christmas Goes
Carlin's Kaartenparadijs #85 - Anything Goes

Guest Designer Card

So today I am showing you the card I made being a guest designer for the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge. We would love for you to join in the fun and easy challenge. Please click the photo below to go to the blog and see how you can participate. Thanks for the opportunity to be a guest designer.

I took a white card base and added a red panel onto it. On the red panel I added some lovely designer papers of Studio Light. I got the cute paperpack on a raffle draw at my local hobby shop. I added a rectangle star border panel in the middle and added the 2 coffee cups on that. The cups are from My Favoritie Things. I added a snowflake on the cups. A nice simple homemade sentiment strip to finish the card and voila another christmas card done. I love the non traditional colors of this one.

I will be entering this in the following challenges:
Krafty Chicks #779 - Anything Goes
Crafters Cafe - Anything Goes Optional Christmas In July
The Creative Crafters #90 - Anything Goes
Ally's Angels #96 - Anything Goes

Christmas Birdhouse Card

At this moment I am not making a lot of cards because the weather is so lovely and I spend a great deal of time outside. We do a lot of bike rides several times a week when the weather permits it or I just sit in my garden and then I am unable to do any papercrafting so at bit fewer posts at the moment. I do try to make some cross stitch cards because that I can do even outside sitting in my yard under my party tent. As far as theme I don't mind making christmas cards all year long.

So today I am showing you another card I made for Christmas. I made the background paper myself. I didn't use AI for that I still make it myself from scratch using PSP. That way I can get the perfect color that I am looking for. The Merry is from an alphabet of Lawn Fawn. I die cut the letters twice and stacked them together to get a bit of dimension and then I added only the top of the letters into another color. The top and bottom of the birdhouse are from Pretty Pink Posh. The little house itself I made myself because I needed it to be a bit larger. I then used a circle die to cut the circle in the middle. I stacked the birdhouse onto foam for dimension. The leaf branch is from a swing set of Studio Light. And the birds are from Poppy Stamps. I added some ink here and there to make them look more real. The snowflakes are from several different die set.

I love combining die set from more then just 1 brand as I feel all brands have something lovely to offer and you can really use all of them together to make that one special card.

I will be entering this in the following challenges:
Peace On Earth Christmas #90 - Anything Christmas Goes
Sparkles Christmas June 2025 - Include the word Merry
Krafty Chicks #772 - Christmas

A Kitty Kat Birthday Card

Today I am showing you a birthday card with a cute cat in a bumper car racing to the birthday party.

The red design paper is a digital download from Nitwit Collections. The white panel is from Pink Fresh Studio. The bumper car is from Studio Light and the cute cat is from Marianne Design. I added it all onto a white base card. I printed the sentiment first and then die cut the panel.

I will be adding this to the following challenge:
4 Season Swap #91 - Animals with a "K"
Critter Crazy #97 - Anything Goes Featuring A Critter
