Poinsettia Card

I made this card fot the Girlz Creative Christmas Challenge #113. They want to see poinsettia's on your card.

I used all dies that I got at a second hand market so don't know the brands. I also used a big punch for the pine branch of EK Success. I added a few gold tiny beads in the center of the flower. The papers are from a digital collection of Nitwit that I printed out a long time ago so don't know the name of the specific collection anymore. The sentiment was printed and foiled by me.

A CAS Birthday Card

At the AAA Cards Challenge #284 they are having a sketch challenge. I just had to try this one so I will be entering my card in this challenge.

I made another card with the Spellbinders Ganache Gateau which I will show later at some point. This die also has some dies included that can make these cute little macarons and I thought these are perfect to use for the sketch. I used pink tones and white for the cream.  I then stamped a small sentiment. Very quick and easy to make if you want a quick card.

A Birthday Card

I made this card for my brother in law who is turning 70. I used Marianne Design COL1481 Cupcake by Marleen as the centerpiece. I made this card quite a while ago so I don't remember the brand of the small numbers I used. I left it more like a CAS card. The sentiment was printed onto the cardstock and for a finishing touch I added some dark blue pearls. A perfect card for a guy in my mind.

Another Christmas Card

I went to a hobby market and I bought this large text die by Crealies Cardzz103. The size of a die i about the same as a regular card size so this card turned out to be a bit larger then usual. It is the Dutch word for Christmas.

I used digital designer papers from Nitwit Collections for the letters. I die cut the Santa and Mrs Claus from Marianne Design COL1517. I also used a square embossed panel but I don't know the brand of this one.

I will be entering this card in the following challenge:
The Holly And Ivy Christmas #178 - Anything Goes
The 12 Months Of Christmas #119 - Anything Goes (Couples)

Winter Shaker Card

Today I am showing you the cute shaker card I made yesterday.

I embossed the panel on the base card with a wall pattern. I don't know the brand for this one. I then used some nestabilties to die cut the shaker panel. I added some acetate behind it and then added thick foam strips to lift up the panel. I used several dies to make the shaker bits and only added a few sequins and beads to give that nice shaker sounds when you shake the card.

The bear and log are dies of Marianne Design. The snowflakes are made from several dies from lots of different brands.

I will be entering this card in the following challenge:
Dutch Card Lovers - Embossed Background
Jingle Belles - Clearly Christmas
Peace On Earth #82 - Anything Goes
Die Cut Diva's - Shaker Card
Can You Handle The Pressure - Anything Goes

Postage Card

I saw this one at the Waffle Flower website and I copied it for the most part. It is not exactly the same but it's not meant to be an exact copy. Just so you all know this one isn't my idea but I do like it and had to try it for myself.

I die cut a panel from the Postage Collage A6 die. I then used a 2 layered Rose stencil also. I inked them with Distress Oxide Ink from Ranger by Tim Holtz and the colors I used are Bundled Sage and Scattered Straw. For the tiny diamonds I used regular Distress Ink in the color Vintage Photo. The little black postage stamps are also from Waffle Flower. The background cover plate die is the Dashed Rhombus Panel Die.

I will be entering this card in the following challenge:

Cute and Christmassy

Good afternoon everybody. Today I am showing my newest creation that I made yesterday. I have lots of cute dies of Marianne Design. She has so many of these cute little creatures and I really wanna make more cards with them. Finding the time to do so is my biggest problem with that but that is a luxury problem I guess.

So I embossed a light brown panel with a christmas embossing folder. Sorry don't know the brand for this one. I picked it up at a local second hand market. The nestibility banner is also second hand. The designer papers I used are from a digital set of Nitwit Collections. And the cat is from Marianne Design COL1454 and the santa hat die is from COL1438. I made the sentiment myself and printed it with the laserprinter onto black cardstock and I added gold foil onto it.

I will be entering this card in the following challenge:

Explosion Box

Today I can finally show the explosion box I made like 6 weeks ago but the celebration was today so now they have received it and I can finally put it on the blog.

The papers I used for this are from Lemoncraft. For the cake I used dies from Lady E. For the flowers and leaves I used dies from various companies. I added some ink to the flower centers up and put pearls in the center. For the numbers I used an alphabet set of Spellbinders. The rings I die cut out of gold metallic cardstock and that die is from Marianne Design. I don't know the brand of the large heart, the lace border on the cake or the small doily I used. I added some pearl string around the bottom of the cake layers.

I also made a pocket that holds the gift that we all gave to them.

They were very happy and suprised with the box

Challenge Card

I made this card and then I found it as it had accidently fallen behind my cabinet. I have made another one like this before but I love it so much that I made this one as well and I might make it again at a later time. Never the same though. I will always make a card once.

I used a square postage nestability dies. The colors I used for the colored small square postage dies are Anise, Glacier and Ink. For the butterflies I used a die cut of Alexandra Renke. They are a set of 2 butterflies. I die cut both butterflies 3 times. One butterfly in white cardstock and the other butterfly in vellum. I used a beige color for the body of the butterfly. I added a sentiment that I made and printed myself and some sequins in matching colors for the finishing touch.

I will be entering this card in the following challenge:
Alphabet Challenge - W is for Wings
Cardz 4 Galz #244 - Embellishments

Challenge Card

Today I am showing you a cute pop up card. This one was quite a bit of work but it was lovely to make.

The front was made from inspiration on Pinterest. I made that curvy edge on top with the help of a die that you use to make shadow boxes. I didn't have an edge like this so it turned out great. The top was a bit bulky with all those layers and the many pine leaf cutout so I used some gold shiny ribbon to cover that up and it looked so much nicer after that. The sentiment die is from Marianne Design.

When you open the card up these nice looking christmas trees pop up. The trees have been put on a strip of acetate to make sure they stay up whten the card is opened. I have not decided what I will be adding for text on the inside but I will do that later.

I will enter this card in the following challenges:
Christmas Kickstart #95 - Fold It Fancy
ABC Christmas Challenge - D is for Die Cuts
A Cut Above - Anything Goes using a Die Cut

I hope you like it as much as I do

I wanted to try my new flower stencil.

I die cut a postage collage panel from Waffle Flower and added non sticky tape of all these borders. I then used my the Winter Rose stencil by Gina K Designs to make the beautiful 2 tone blue rose. I used Distress Oxide ink in the colors Stormy Sky and Blueprint Sketch for the rose and Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn for the leaves. I also used some postage stamps of Waffle Flower. I die cut the Love sentiment in gold and added two white layers underneath to give it some dimension. I put a black panel underneat onto a white card base.

Challenge Card

I saw something like this on Pinterest and decided to make my own.

I didnt have any pockets or labels so I just made it all myself. I took a rectangle die and secured the little heart die and a small circle with some low tack tape. Then I cut 5 rectangles to the size I needed them to be. I added some thin strips of foam tape so that there was still room to slide the little labels in. I used some yarn strings on the labels. I made the sentiment myself and added that to finish the card.

Color Throwdown Challenge #826

I made this card for the Color Throwdown Challenge #826. The sun came out so I was able to take a somewhat better photo just in time to still enter the challenge. The colors that you need to use is brown, pink and white.

I used my new embossing folder which is a 3D embossing folder that looks like strings of pearls. Very nice and as far as I know it's unbranded. I used some yummy ice cream dies by Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Cupcakes and More. Very useful die set and will be using it more in the future. I bought the sentiment stamps second hand on a market so I don't know the designer of that one. To finish the card of I used some sequins in the colors that matched the card.

52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge

So I made this card for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown February Color Challenge. I waited until the last moment to make a photo of it as the time is running out for entering the challenge but the weather is so gloomy still that is almost impossible for an amateur like me to take a proper nice looking photo. Oh well I did the best I could do. The photo doesn't do the card justice but it is what it is I guess.

So I made a Cas style card with some splatters in gold metallic acrylic paint. On top I added 5 die cut trees. I don't know the manufacturers of these. I embossed one of the tree with the newest embossing folder I got from Temu so guess unbranded and splattered some gold paint on the white and black trees. The sentiment I made myself. I printed the text with my laser printer onto black cardstock and then foiled it with gold foil in my laminator. It is not completely crisp but good enough.

Bench Card for a Birthday

This is a bench card. I saw these on Pinterest and like it so much. I made this for a guy that is turning 14 already. At the back I made a pocket in which we put his present. You can lift up the counter and then fold it flat so it fits into an envelop. This can be made in so many different themes so I will probably make more of these.

I used colored and metallic silver cardstock. I used kraft cardstock to make the peg board. I embossed the red cardstock with a wall patterned embossing folder and a patterned one for the silver doors, I added a black half pearl to be the knobs of the door. I also like how the silver metallic make the tools reflect. I have the tool dies from Temu so guess they are unbranded.

I hope he likes it when I give it to him

I also decided to enter this one for the Cut It Up Challenge #323. The challenge is This Makes Me Smile. Well what makes me smile about this card is that it is a fun fold. I am always still in awww what you can do with pieces of papers and shapes.

Birthday Card

This is a birhday I made for my not yet official son in law. I made it into an Easel card. I printed a graphic of a vinyl record from the internet and then added some miniature vinyl recors and music notes for decoration as well as a movie strip. I saw something like this on Pintereset and like it a lot so had to make my own.

I will be adding this card to the Krafty Chicks Challenge #754 where the challenge is a Birthday themed card.

Lots of hearts

Lots of hearts on this beautiful card. I have just die cut a lot of different hearts from the hugh stash of cutting dies I have. I have so many maybe too many but it gives you a nice selection to choose from.

Under the heart I have done some partial embossed lines. The sentiment was stamped with distress ink Vintage Photo. Overall the card is too busy for CAS but it kind of looks like one

Butterfly Birthday Card

Today I am showing you a birthday card I made with butterflies

I splattered some gold paint on the background. I used square postage dies to put the butterflies on. I die cut the butterflies once in white cardstock and once in vellum and cut the vellum butterflies slighty smaller. I stamped the sentiment and embossed it with gold embossing powder and then die cut it with a label die. For the finishing touch I used some sequins in matching colors

Card for my nephew

I made this card for my cousin that is having his birthday. I do believe he is turning 56 but I wasn't sure so I didn't add any numbers to the card. He likes music and music cards are always suitable for cards so I made this.

As far as I know these dies are unbranded. I bought them at Aliexpress. I like the little guitar a lot. You can get it in 2 sizes. The shop also sell a violin and an acoustic guitar both in 2 sizes. The papers are from Nitwit Collections.
I inked up all the edges after distressing them with the Tim Holtz distress tool but I guess you could use scissors to distress the edges of your paper.

There is a sketch challenge at the

And there is a gnome challenge at the
Make My Monday challenge #244

I have so many dies that I still need to use and among them is this cute gnome from the Spellbinders The Gnome Drive Collection. The papers I used are from Nitwit Collection. I printed out so many and have a whole stack of them so I don't remember the specific collection. The sentiment is in Dutch and I made that myself on my computer.

Card for a challenge

I made this card for the Cardz 4 Galz challenge #242. The theme is anything but square. This card is a rectangle when opened and looks like a slimline when closed. I made it a birthday card as you can never have to many of these. The sentiments are available as stamps of Marianne Design CS1087. The papers and graphics are from Nitwit Collection and the collection I used for this one is called Cherish.

It is a fun fold card that is know as a book flip card. I saw these on Pinterest. This is my version of that card. I love fun folds as they are often so different then a storebought card.

I hope you like it as much as I do

CAS Birthday Card

So I saw something like this on Pinterest and had to make my own. I just love the CAS style of cards. There is some beautiful about simplicity in cards. It is actually kind of hard to keep cards really simple. I tend to go overboard easily.

Anyways I used a dotted embossing folder for the panel and put the cupcakes on that with some foam tape. The cupcakes are from Cottage Cutz, Pedestral Stand With Cupcakes. The card is in slimline size. The sentiment was made and printed by myself
