A Slimline Christmas Card

Today I am showing a christmas card with regular stitching. I usually make cross stitch cards but wanted to give this a try.

took a slimeline stitch panel and die cut that on a piece of white cardstock. I stitched a pattern in red, white and green using crochet yarn. I still have a lot of yarn left over from my closed shop and this is a nice way to use it. The red and green are in larger zigzag pattern and the white is in smaller zigzag pattern. I added foam tape to the back and then I attached it to a white base card. I then die cut a circle out of vellum so you can still see that lovely pattern behind the vellum. I die cut a large stamped sentiment that I inked  in green and red tones to match the yarn colors. I popped some foam tape underneath the sentiment to attach the vellum to the card without it showing. It is somewhat different from what I normally make but I do like it.

I will enter this in the following challenges:
The Holly And Ivy #188 - Anything Christmas Goes
Rudolph Days July 2025 - Anything Christmas Goes

A Lavender Get Well Card

Today I am showing you a get wel card I made for my stash. You never know when someone may need some encouragement.

I die cut a white panel out of the Folk Edge Rectangle die set of Pink Fresh Studio. I also made the slots using a sort of tuck it die to tuck the flowers behind. I don't know the brand for the lavender flowers. I die cut the whole flower in green and then only the top parts in purple. I then attached the top parts onto the green flowers. I did mask off part of the panel and then used some light blue ink of Card Deco. I added the flowers onto the card and added some tape on the back so the flowers won't fall out accidently. I stamped the sentiment but I won the set so I don't remember which brand it was from.
For the finishing touch I added some clear pearls to the card.

I will be adding this to the following challenges

A Starry Christmas Card

Today I am showing you a CAS style Christmas card. There is just something so elegant about a cas card. I like making a card like this from time to time.

I took a white panel and traced a wavy line on the back with a pencil. I then took my score board and embossed all the lines up till the line I drew. I then turned the panel and it has this nice patterned embossed lines. I added a whole bunch of die cut stars out of metallic cardstock and silver glitter cardstock. It is hard to see the glitter on the photo but in the right light is is so sparkly. I added a few small die cut envelopes that I tied a bow around and added a little bow onto also out of silver cardstock. To finish the card I added a homemade sentiment that I foiled with silver foil in my laminator. This one is for my christmas stash for now.

I used a background panel with christmas trees on it. I used the nutcracker set of Concord and 9th. I cut the largest oval out of gold metallic cardstock and the smaller one in white. I dress up the nutcracker in shaded of pink. I added some gold pearls on the jacket and the feather on this hat is gold metallic cardstock. On top the green leaf branches and I added some more gold pearls in the middle. I die cut a nice stamped sentiment.

Another Christmas Card

Today I am showing you a cute christmas card for my stash for upcoming christmas. The weather is very hot over here but I still like making christmas cards. It has been ages since we have had a good winter. These days it seems more like fall and winter seems to be skipped. We haven't had any snow falling that is worth mentioning. I guess we just need to get used to that.

Anyways for this card I added a digital background from Nitwit Collections. And the lovely cupcakes are all by Cottagecutz. I used some gold metallic cardstock as well as green, red, white and black. Pretty traditional colors. The cute sentiment die cut is from A Pocket Full Of Happiness.

This card makes me smile

I will be entering this one in the BYSH Cardmakers Christmas In July 2025 {BYSHC} Link Party

I used digital grey polka dot papers of Nitwit Collections. The flowers are from Papertrey Ink. I did use some different leaves but forgot the brand of them. I sometimes make cards in advance and then when I am ready to post them on my blog I have forgotten all the brands and/or collections I used but if I remember I will let you know ofcourse. The stamped sentiment is from Honey Bee Stamps.

A Thank You Card

I saw some really nice cards in black and white on Pinterest and liked to make one myself.

I took a black base card and added a grey panel to it. I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and added 3 blue 4 mm half pearls under the sentiment. I also stamped a script stamp with clear ink and added some white embossing powder to it. I still need to practise it so it looks more smoothly but we try as we go. I added a white die cut flower onto the little rectangle and in the middle I added a die cut button. I die cut the button about 3 times using black cardstock and glued them together for some dimension. I added a piece of crochet yarn and tied a little bow in the center of the button. I did pop the rectangle onto some foam and then added it to the gray panel. To finish it off I added a little white scalloped border to finish the card of.

Christmas In The Air

Today I am also showing you a card I made as a guest designer for the Cut It Up challenge blog. The challenge is Christmas In July and we would love for you to join in this fun challenge.

I made a slimeline card with a cute santa in a hot air balloon floating to you all to give you lots of christmas hugs. The balloon and the santa are of Marianne Design. The decorations on the balloon are from Honey Bee Stamps. I don't remember which brand the cloud borders are from. I did pop up one border using some foam tape and that is why the balloon actually seems to be floating above the clouds. I used digital designer papers from Nitwit Collections. I just printed the sentiment on my laser printer and then foiled it with gold foil. An overall adorable christmas card in my opinion.

A Shaped Christmas Card

Today I am showing you a shaped beanie card in a wintery christmas theme.

I drew the template for the hat myself into Paint Shop Pro. I printed the template onto thick cardstock and cut out all of the parts. I traced the outline first and did this twice. I then glued only about 1 inch ont the top together to make a double card base. I then took some designer papers, traces the parts and added it onto my base card. I really love the designer paper. I unfortunately don't know the brand as this was a gift from my local craft store because they held an event and this was in the gift bag amongst other really cute stuff. If anyone recognizes the brand for these papers please let me know. I used glitter cardstock for the pompom on top and the zigzag border. Kind of hard to see in the photos but it's really pretty.
I added some large snowflakes on the beanie and added some silver pearls in the middle of the snowflakes. A few more pearls and a nice sentiment for the finishing touch and voila. A really nice christmas card ready for the recipient.

A Script Heart Card

Today I am sharing a card that I guess is kind of a copy of a card I saw on Pinterest. I just like it so much that I had to make it for myself.

I added the script stamp of Stampin Up on a white background where I added some light blue ink onto. It is hard to see in the photo but it is there. I cut out the heart twice and added Distress Oxide Bundled Sage Ink on one of them. I cut out about 9 of the little flowers and added different shades of pink Distress Oxide inks on them. On some I added 3 small white pearls for the centers and on some just 1 larger pink half pearl as the center. The sentiment stamp is from Honey Bee Stamps and I die cut the outline about 3 times and stacked them together to get the dimension. All and all a pretty nice peaceful card to give to that special someone.

An Anemone Card

Today I am showing another floral card made with beautiful anemone dies in a green and pink color theme.

I used white linnen cardstock for my base. On top of that I added a piece of digital designer paper by Nitwit Collections. The colors matched the colors of the flowers and leaves perfectly. The white frame panel is from Papertrey Ink. The anemones and leaves are from the Into The Blooms Anemone set by Papertrey It has all been cut out of white cardstock and colored with Distress Oxide Ink. I added a few pearls to the little branches. For the finishing touch I added a few pink half pearls. I decided to not put a sentiment onto this one because sometimes you don't really need a sentiment on it.

A Gate Fold Card

Today I am showing you a gatefold card that I made as a guest designer for DO-Al(l) Kreatives challenge #103. The challenge is to make a gatefold card. We would be very happy if you also join in this challenge

I made a gatefold card in a birthday theme. I added a belly band to the gatefold. I used white linnen textured card stock as my base card. The designer paper is from Lemoncraft. I distressed all the edges with the Tim Holtz distress tool. I alsmost added nothing to the card itself because the papers are already so beautiful on its own so I paid more attention to the belly band. The belly band is a bit large then the base card. I glued the ends together and hid the crease behind that lovely doily circle which is from Lady E designs. I added some white crochet yarn bows with longer tails onto the circle as well as leaves and roses. All are handmade by myself so no storebought ones. For the finishing touch I added the sentiment and some pearls. I don't know the designer of the sentiment stamps I used. There is plenty of room to stamp an additional sentiment or write a personal message on the inside later.

I will be entering this in  the following challenges:
