A Thank You Card

I saw some really nice cards in black and white on Pinterest and liked to make one myself.

I took a black base card and added a grey panel to it. I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and added 3 blue 4 mm half pearls under the sentiment. I also stamped a script stamp with clear ink and added some white embossing powder to it. I still need to practise it so it looks more smoothly but we try as we go. I added a white die cut flower onto the little rectangle and in the middle I added a die cut button. I die cut the button about 3 times using black cardstock and glued them together for some dimension. I added a piece of crochet yarn and tied a little bow in the center of the button. I did pop the rectangle onto some foam and then added it to the gray panel. To finish it off I added a little white scalloped border to finish the card of.

I will be entering this into the following challenges:

  6. Thanks for sharing your terrific black and white bold card at MTTC! Using crocheting yarn to tie in a bow on the die-cut button was a great way to use fiber! Awesome! -- Becca
