A White Christmas Tree Card

Today I am showing this white christmas card. 

Another older die set that I still had to use. I also like stitching dies among so many other things. I really don't have a certain style, technique or brand. I love all of it so it is hard too choose.

I die cut the Spellbinders Stitched Holiday Tree dies in white and gold metallic cardstock. I used gold metallic thread by Madeira to stitch the tree with. I used the Pine Sprays Hot Foil Plate by Spellbinders to foil the white panel with gold foil. I put some foam pads behind the tree and added it to the foiled panel. I added a stamped and die cut sentiment for the finishing touch.

Christmas Baby Card

 

Today I am showing a baby Christmas card.

I have so many die set that I only used once of still haven't used at all and even though they are older they are still so nice to use so from time to time I will get out those older die sets.

I cut two scalloped circle dies and on one of them I added a scoreline about 1,5 cm on the top. I then glued that onto the other circle to make a nice base card. I then taped some wood grain paper by Lemoncraft and a christmas themed digital paper of Nitwit Collection together and cut a circle out if with my circle die. I cut 2 small white strips to add as a baseboard. I used dies from Marianne Design for the baby, the toy and the cloth that the baby is sitting on. I used dies fro Honeybee Stamps for the garland and bow. I finished the card with a homemade sentiment strip.

A Christmas Tree Cat Card

 

Today I am showing you a card that is actually not my idea so I made a similar one with a few changes.

I cut a rectangle base card. I added a white glitter panel on top of that and then a snowflake patterned paper by Studio Light. The christmas tree, the gifts, the ornaments, the cat and the banner are all from Marianne Design. The poinsettia is from Spellbinders. I used all matching colors from Studio Light paperpads as the colors fits nicely together. The sentiment is a foil die by Carlijn Design

A Flower Slimline Birthday Card

 

Today I am showing you an elegant slimline birthday card

I printed a pale blue panel and used a pale grey polka dot paper from one of the digital collection of Nitwit Collection. I forgot which set this is in. I die cut a lacy oval frame. On top of that I die cut a circle with a stamped sentiment on it. On top of the circle I added a circle border that I die cut out of the same blue paper I printed that I also used to make the flowers. I die cut 6 small flowers out of the Into The Blooms Dahlia set by Papertrey Ink. I also die cut a whole bunch of leaves in a medium green color. For the finish touch I used some pearl embellishments in the center of the flowers and in corners of the card. I then added it all to a white base card.

A Christmas Mouse Card

 

Today I am showing you a christmas card with this adorable mouse.

It is a simple card. I used this adorable mouse picture on a lacy frame. I used some digital christmas papers I bought a long time ago from Etsy. The flower and leaves are from my stash. Sometimes when I have no inspiration I make flowers and die cut leaves that I keep in my storage so that they are ready for use and it saves me time when making a card. I used a foiling die from Carlijn Design for the sentiment.

A Cheerful Summer Card

 

Today I am showing you another Magnolia card I made in a beachy summer theme.

I cut a square white base card. I used digital papers of Nitwit Collections The Coastal set. I pierced and stitched all the edges of each of the panels. I colored the Magnolia Stamp Edwin In Miami with Ohuhu Honolulu B alcohol markers. I added some beach themed die cuts like a fishing net, waterplants, sea shells and a parasol border on top. I finished the card with a printed homemade sentiment and choose to keep in black as the stood out a whole lot more then a white sentiment.

Christmas Window Card

Today I am showing an arched shaped Christmas Card

I cut a base card from an arch panel to make the double sided card. I then cut a single arched panel and embossed it with a snowy wall embossing folder. I cut a window out of red cardstock of the Spellbinders Vista View Window die set. I put a piece of acetate behind the window so it looks like it has an actual window although you can't really tell from this photo. The greenery and the flowers are from various Spellbinders christmas die set. I added a bit of Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink in the middle of the little poinsettias and added a transparant pearl in the middle.

A Spinning Pinwheel Birthday Card

 

Today I am showing you a birthday card. He just got a new hamster so I made him this card of the hamster holding a pinwheel. The pinwheel moves like crazy as I put it onto a spinner. Check the short video to see it spin.

All the digital papers I used are from Nitwit collection. I think it was the Beautiful Baby Boy collection. All dies I used are from Marianne Design. 

He liked his card a whole lot so I am happy for that also. It keeps getting harder to come up with original new ideas but I still manage to come up with something.

A Heartfelt Birthday Card

 

Today I am showing you all this adoralble birthday card with Tilda holding the heart balloons

The base card is 14,5 x 14,5 cm. I inked up the edges of the front of the card. I then took a lot of small panels that I layered on top of a white panel. They are all pierced and stitched by hand. I also inked up all the edges I also stamps some swirls beside the tilda with Vintage Photo Distress Ink by Tim Holtz. I also added a piece of lace underneath the stamp image panel and added some lovely lace borders using my border dies. And a few die cut swirls from a set I think was from Globeland. I made flowers myself and also the twirly green thingies beside the roses on top. I twisted some green floral wire arond a crochet hook to get that. I glued them down using my hot glue gun. For the finishing touch I added some white pearls and a homemade sentiment. Very fiddly card but very nice even if you don't see cards with the stamped images of Magnolia much anymore I still like them so much. The papers I used are from Scrap and Me. The image I colored with Ohuhu markers.

An Arched Trio Panel Card

Today I am showing a 3 piece arched panel card. You can fold this as a zigzag to fit it into the envelop.

I die cut 3 arched panels. I then took a strip of 33 x 8,5 cm of white cardstock and scored it at 11 and 22 cm and folded the score lines. I then glued the panels onto the cardstock strip. I added some craft cardstock panels onto the white panels. I also cut 3 medium blue cardstock arch panels and took a stencil and added snowdrops with TCW stencil butter and let that dry before adding anything else onto it. Unfortunately there were some tiny smooches but hey it's a handmade card so it will have to do. It just didn't feel right to throw it away and start over.

After it was dry I added some snowbanks out of white glitter cardstock. All die cuts are from Marianne Design. I die cut the Arctic bear twice. I used the Winter Sport Accessoires to dress one bear with skies and the other with the snowboard. I used some silver metallic cardstock for the glasses, ski poles and zipper at the vest. The fence is from the Eline's Winter Accessoires. The text is a hot foil die by Marianne Design.

A Ladybug Birthday Card

I saw this kind of card at Pinterest this the lovely ladybug.

I also have this set by Papertrey Ink so I remade the card. I didn't have the pink shade in cardstock that I wanted to use so I printed my own in shades of pink using my PSP software. All the dies I used are from Papertrey Ink. Among them are the Build A Ladybug set and the Into The Blooms Pressed Flowers set. 
I added ink onto the flowers and leaves. I also used the hot foil plate Regal Flourish Frame with a champagne colored foil on the pink background. I also foiled the sentiment that is from Carlijn Design.
I made it into a birthday card
