Two Slimline Baby Cards

Today I am showing you 2 slimline baby cards. I saw an inspirational photo of a cover for a photo-album that had a bear on a cloud and it gave me the inspiration for these baby cards. Ofcourse a boy and a girl version as I can't help making one of each.

I used digital printed papers of Nitwit Collections of the the Beautiful Baby Boy and the Beautiful Baby Girl collections. I added some tiny clouds popped up onto some foam tape to get the dimension. The largest clouds is from Spellbinders Summer Vacay die set. I just made the width a bit smaller so it wouldn't fit onto the card better. The baby is from Marianne Design COL1479 Eline's Babies. The ribbon die is second hand so I don't know the brand for it.
On the boy version I added a few little stars and on the girl version I added a few hearts. The sentiments are homemade and printed. I then die cut them out with a label die.

I will be adding this to the following challenge:
2 Sisters On The Blog #96 - Baby Card
Girlz Creative Fun Art Of Scrap #8 - Anything Goes Using Design Papers

Feathers Birthday Card

Today I am showing you a birthday card with feathers.

I used white cardstock. I printed the sentiment with my laser printer. I then took a panel die of Pink Fresh Studio. I got a die that cuts out these line to tuck the feathers into. I then masked off the part where the sentiment was and inked the panel with Distress Oxide Ink Worn Lipstick. I then splatted some gold metallic paint onto the panel. I then added the gold foil onto the sentiment. I was a bit nervous what the heat would do to the rest of the panel but it was all ok. I then die cut the feathers and added some gold glitter to the center of the feathers. Especially at night the card looks so shiny because of that. For the finishing touch I added a few gold pearls.

I will add this to the following challenge:

Carlin's Kaartenparadijs #81 - Feathers

An any occasion card

Today I am showing you a card that I made after getting the inspiration on the Papertrey Ink blog but I forgot who's the cardmaker was that I got the inspiration from. She used different colors.

I die cut a blue panel out of the Border Bling Lattice die from Papertrey Ink. The border frame is from Pink Fresh Studio. The geranium flowers are from the Into The Blooms Geraniums die of Papertrey Ink. I inked the petals with blue ink and the leaves I cut out of green cardstock that I inked with darker green on the edges. The scalloped oval panel is also from Papertrey Ink. The sentiment I made myself and translated to English it would say "Warm Heartfelt Greetings To You.

I will be entering this in the following challenges:

Kreativtangten #100 - Spring

Color Hues Guest Designer Card

I created this card as a guest designer for the Color Hues challenge. As you can see I am a card maker and definately not a good photographer as the color seems like blue on the photo but it is actually teal if you see the card for real.

I took a background image from the internet and cut that with the Simply Diamonds Die from Pink Fresh Studio to get those neat squares. I layered the pieces on a piece of foam tape to give them that dimension on a panel that I embossed with a rose pattern. I don't know the designer for that embossing folder. I die cut the tiny flowers from a die of Marianne Design. And I homemade a sentiment that says Get Well Soon if you translate it to English.

Hope you all play along with the challenge.

Two baby cards

Today I am showing you 2 baby cards I made. When I am making a baby card for no one in particular I always make a boy and a girl version. I can't help myself.

I made a fun fold card. It is kind of like a stepper card as you can see from the side. It give more dimension to a card then if I would have place the fence and the grass directly onto the poles of the clothing lines. The background and the patterns I used for the baby clothes are digital downloads from Nitwit Collections. The white fence is from Marianne Design. I made the poles to hang the clothes lines on myself by using a strip die. I rounded the top of the pole with a corner punch. I glued about 3 to 4 layers onto each other to give it the dimension to look like a pole. I think it worked great. The dies for the baby clothes are from My Favorite Things.
The sentiment is homemade by myself. On the back of the card there is plenty of room to write your own personal message

I will enter this in the following challenges:

Shopping Our Stash #544 - Fun Folds
Color Throwdown #829 - Blue/Lime Green/Green
CD Sunday Plus #155 - Anything Goes
