Today I am showing a card I made as a thank you card for my husbands brother and his wife who were hosting the annual family day this year. Once a year all the brothers, sister and their spouses get together for a day for family fun and good food. It is usually in the beginning of October when they started the tradition after their mom passed away in 2016. So each year one of us hosts this coming together and I always make a nice card to thank them along with a small gift of appreciation.
So for this card I used a digital plaid background from Nitwit Collection. On that I added a rectangle background frame from Papertrey Ink. I made the pumpkins from an oval nestabilities die. I die cut 5 for the large pumpkin and 3 for the smaller pumpkin. I die cut some flowers and inked them with Distress Oxide Ink. I then stamped the spots in the middle and added a pearl in the center. I die cut some leaves and inked those as well in fall colors. I even used a script stamp on some of the leaves. I die cut a small sentiment in copper metallic cardstock and die cut it a couple of times to stack them on top of each other to get a bit of dimension. I added everything onto a kraft base card.
I will be adding this to the following challenges:
