An Embroidery Christmas Card

Today I am showing you an embroidery christmas card I made as a guest designer for the Girlz Creative Christmas challenge blog. Thanks for having me. The theme is Stitching Real of Faux. Please join the challenge with your lovely creations.

So I took an AI image. I don't like most AI things but every now and then there are just some so cute images. The images are printed ofcourse. I printed a larger one for the front and a smaller version in the corner on the inside. I love how you can make it all matching. I then pierced the intire pattern onto the front around the image and used DMC embroidery floss in matching colors to stitch the pattern with. On the corners I added some gold half pearls and in the left top corner I added an organza bow with 2 gold bells. I didn't add a sentiment this time but I will write something nice on the inside.

An Autumn Fall Gnome Card

Today I am showing you a fall or autumn themed card. Lots of challenges are having this theme at the moment so this is my creation.

I took a pale orange digital paper of the collection Sweater Weather from Nitwit Collection. I die cut a grass hill in a moss green tone. I die cut the log and mushrooms from die sets of Marianne Design. The chestnuts and gnome are from Globeland die sets. I also have some tiny butterflies but I don't remember the brand for those. I didn't add a sentiment to this one but I will add a nice message on the inside. This one is for my stash for now.

I will be adding this to the following challenges:
Crealadies #10 - Op een grote paddestoel
Make My Monday #288 - Autumn/Fall
Unicorn #125 - Autumn And/Or Halloween
Cardz 4 Guys #390 - Fall/Autumn Theme Colors

A Shaped Christmas Card

Today I am showing this lovely shaped christmas card.

This is the Stitched Christmas Sweater by Spellbinders. I made it as a double card so it can actually stand up right. I didn't stitch anything on the sweater. I did add some stitching on the tree with some gold metallic thread. I cut the tree stump and star out of gold metallic cardstock. The sentiment is from Carlijn Design and it's foiled with gold foil.

I will be adding this to the following challenges:
52 Weeks To Christmas - Week 41
Holly And Ivy #213 - Anything Christmas Goes
Girlz Creative Christmas #197 - Alles Mag Kerst
Peace On Earth #121 - Anything Christmas Goes
Hearts Quest For Shaped Cards #20 - Anything Goes Shaped Cards

A 2027 CAS card

Today I am showing a card I have been wanting to make for a while now.

It is a very simple yet elegant card that doesn't take a whole lot to make. Even though this is a rather quick card I love the simplicity of it. I die cut the 2027 about 4 times and glue them on top of each other to get some nice dimension. I die cut a small bow out of matt gold metallic cardstock and glued it to the "7". I then added the numbers to the card without glueing them down just yet. I got out my sentiment stamps and found this nice sentiment to put underneath the numbers and it was the perfect size. I then stamped it on the base card. After that I glued down the numbers. Well that is is for this card. Not fussy at al and still beautiful.

A Christmas Highland Cow Card

Today I am sharing a Christmas card with this cute highland cow.

I cut a base card from a rectangle scalloped die set by Lisa Horton. I also cut another single panel and glued that on top of the base card. I added a digital paper from Nitwit Collection. I die cut a grass hill from green cardstock like the cow is standing on grass. I die cut a few little poinsettias in red and pale pink from a die set of Alexandra Renke. I used some small metallic stars that I still had leftover from another project and to finish the card of I added a homemade sentiment that I foiled with some gold foil.
